Custom Dresses

This gown is not for sale - it is a gown which has been made for.

Margaret Hogarth of South Wirral, Cheshire, England.

Working from a magazine article, Margaret's ideas, Harpers Bazaar and a lot of hard work,

this is the outfit we came up with.    A second gown is at the bottom of the page.

This Gown is from 1872.

The Gown was made in Silk and Satin with Insertion Lace on the cuffs and sleeves.

Embroidery was carried out using a Bernina Artista Embroidery machine using

designs from the selection available on this website https://www.heirloom.com.au/Designs.htm

Lace was used extensively and I used Tulle Lace (as I call it).
